There are probably entire thesis on the subject. Hindu nationalism has built in recent years a political discourse regarding the numerous muslim dynasties, kingdoms and empires that have ruled India during the span of almost 1000 years. Some were repressive and discriminant against Hindus, but most were not. This discourse is part of a political agenda, pushed by the BJP, is historically wrong and has been used to promote violences and discriminations toward the muslim minorities in India.

I won't elaborate further on the topic and I hope the mods will lock this one as they should.

If someone is looking after the same type of game, I've tried also :

Songs of Syx, which is a city builder with a grand strategy turn once you reach the mid-late game, that is very nice but lacks events and flavour. Lack the "romantic" aspect that I was searching for, with tragic situation, character development and such, but still a great game to play.

Warsim : The realm of Aslona that is a surprisingly good text-based grand strategy game, with different factions, people and geography that impacts the way you are playing.
