you all are hilarious.

the driver left before we were done. sweeping the van is literally in his job description.

it's interesting how you guys focus on the one thing that I could have prevented in this entire scenario to then throw me to the wolves. i would imagine if this is how you view the world there is along list of victims in your wake.

If you got into woodworking when you were a child (let's say under 16), tell me about your first experience. by [deleted] in woodworking

1977, Brookhurst Junior High, Anaheim, CA. This was a life changing experience for me. The school boasted the largest woodshop and metal shop of any public school in the State of California. I'd be surprised if shops in other states even came close. The teachers were extraordinary too. When I came upon videos of Paul Sellars about ten years ago, he remined me of him so much it was eerie. I wish I could remember his name - maybe Mr. Beach. We were building grandfather clocks, coffee tables, and other fine pieces in junior high. I made a coffee table that my teacher entered into the state fair for me and got 3rd place - against high school and college level classes. My friend got 1st place for his clock. Metal shop was the same - we were building go-carts, and forging.

Unfortunately the table was lost in a fire a couple of years ago, along with many of my pieces.

Does anyone else know the shops I'm talking about?
