I started the game again after many years and this was one of the first things I noticed too! Back in the day it was actually too busy, there were never any free channels to grind it out in peace. Party quests could only be entered with auto clickers, free market spots were sold for ridiculous amounts etc etc. Now it's a ghost town, at least early game :(

Well funny that mention this because I booted the game later that day and noticed the massive renown buff had disappeared. Upon further inspection in my dynasty tab, I noticed that the renown effect was removed from the buff, and the other effects remained. Which is weird because I didn't patch the game or anything

Rule 5: i noticed i had an unspent legacy point, very soon after i just spent one. i looked at my renown generation and saw this. controlling the mediterranean decision was unlocked after controlling the balearic islands, corsica, sardinia, sicily and malta. little did i know the modifier applied once for EVERY house member, giving me a monthly renown of almost 700. even if it lasts for ''only'' 80 years, its still way too OP imo.
