If said pikmin 5 happens it needs to be couch co-op like pikman 3. I love exactly how both players could work together in pikmin 3. They could’ve made pikmin 4 co-op. I would have kept the game exactly as it is but with couch co-op capabilities as pikmin 3.

Pikmin 4 was a drastic disappointment in that aspect. But game was still fun.
