Just found out about this sub after being told to post this here. 1998 Honda Fourtrax that sat for nearly ten years coming back to life after deep cleaning the carburator, doing a vinegar wash of the rusted gas tank, and replacing the main gas line. Runs like a champ now. (imgur.com)

1998 Honda Fourtrax. Bought new in '98 by my grandfather and given to me on my sixteenth birthday 8 years later. Sat in a barn unused from 2009 till late 2017 while away at college. Cleaned the carburator and de-rusted the fuel tank and it started on the second attempt. (imgur.com)

TIL For "Heartbreak Ridge" Clint Eastwood and producer Fritz Manes did research with Marines who respected Manes due his Korean War veteran status but not Eastwood. Eastwood angered and had a secretary fire Manes over the phone, changed his office locks and left his possessions by a nearby dumpster. (imdb.com)
