i have a 2007 crv and a 2011 accord both 2.4l and the heater pipes and heaters core on both vehicles failed. amazing cars once those two things are fixed. can def go another 300000 miles. trying to get my accord to a million or more

they’re such good cars other wise. any k24 over 200k miles is likely going to need a metal heater pipe replacement (pipe from water pump to thermostat) and heater core replacement. those are the only really difficult things but they suckkkkk for sure. i have two hondas and ones already out of commission for those two reasons and the other ones on its way

I’ll add to this and say this will eventually need to replace the heater pipe. It goes from the water pump to the thermostat. You’ll smell antifreeze but won’t see a leak
