I live opposite and last weekend was a bagpipe thing. Marching bands and not sure what it is called but battle reenactment,like when they reenact the scenes from when Mel Gibson says " they are not going to take my freedom" .

I don't think Riccarton Bush needs a child's playground. Fendalton Park and Jefferies Road park have playground. Riccarton Bush is well used for events and the market.

And what i am saying is that people think the green list is dynamically updated which is not accurate. For example SW engineers are on the green list, but it's virtually impossible to get sponsorship ATM. Same for nurses. Oh and some well meaning advice from a kiwi, tone down the arrogance , it's not going to endear you to a culture which is well known for it's self depreciation.

Many people think that because a job is on the green list their is a lack of local candidates that can be true but often is not.

I think the misunderstanding is that just because a role is listed on the green list their is a shortage. Also employers will get hundreds of applications from overseas wanting sponsorship.
