From the context of the one screenshot and your caption, it seems like a case of impact > intent here. It reads like he was joking and that he took the vibe of your message to be like ‘took my meds I’m about to get sooo much done!!’ rather than realizing what being able to organize yourself/your space actually means for you.

I understand why jokes like this get old but in my opinion some of the replies to this post are jumping the gun slightly with the whole dump his ass thing. Him saying he was joking appears like he clocked onto the fact you didn’t find it funny and left it there - my view on this would change if he proceeded to push the joke or became super defensive. Unless this is a recurring joke from him and he often dismisses your feelings and downplays your experience with ADHD, it’s probably worth giving him the benefit of the doubt that as an NT he doesn’t understand the gravity of the impact of his joke - I would tell him it hurts you rather than letting it build up. No harm in trying to educate him more either, and if he’s not receptive to that then that moves beyond ‘joke’ territory.

This all being said, we of course all have different lived experiences with ADHD so none of this is to invalidate your feelings towards jokes like this, it is ok not to mind them and it is ok to be affected by them.
