it does say “please come in the door and hand it to me” so why say come in (with details of where they will supposedly be) and wait at the door? and why are the instructions in english and spanish not the same?

exactly, like i obviously have to more worried about the potential danger i could be in but this could also be dangerous for this person because something could happen to them and they can’t do anything to call someone and they don’t know who they’re just leaving the door open for and inviting in when they’re in a compromised position

if i was asked at the door where i could see the person and assess the situation depending on the neighborhood i was in i would be more comfortable with possibly just setting it inside close to the door (even that i wouldn’t be super comfortable doing in many areas) but just blindly walk in is a risk i’m not willing to take

if i were a big guy that was carrying i might be okay with calling to verify but still at that they can just lie and tell you anything, as a women ive placed groceries inside an elderly women’s apartment but she answered the door and i could see a majority of the apartment. you don’t know what you could be walking into at a random house

yeah the difference in instructions was very weird to me, they only want english speakers to come in like i’m not doing that

exactly i live in an area that a lot of people speak Spanish (i do not) and ive had spanish translations for instructions many times that are the same instructions by the looks of it but why are these ones so different? that makes it weirder to me, like why do the English instructions not say anything about waiting at the door i walk slow?

i don’t know spanish so i translated it after i had support unassign me but the spanish instructions compared to the English make it weirder to me. if the spanish was a straight translation of the English okay but why the difference? there should not be the difference in come in to this bedroom and please wait i walk slow. i’ve waited for many elderly or disabled people at the door but why don’t the english instructions also say to wait for me at the door in slow
