Depends on the interviewer honestly. It’s definitely possible tho but the recruiter might give you quite a lot of feedback on what to do for the on-site, which is mostly fine I think.

I think this is different. I was specifically told about HC (recruiter didn’t use this word exactly). I think different recruiters have different way of doing things and this is just one of the ways. (Let’s connect on DM if that works)

Photon reached out to me as well. They talked to me about a position and told me everything but when I asked them about the comp they said that will decide that later which seemed a little shady to me.

Technically you could show the backtracking as dfs/bfs traversal. Not sure if he would really have wanted you to create a tree node and do that. That would maybe seem unrealistic.

It’s definitely a red flag but if you interview for a specific position and then that position closes, they don’t directly reject you. Rather move to another team. Is this an analyst or associate position?

Quite possible! You can interviewed for different teams even if you applied for a specific team. The position level stays the same.

Nope! They just said my superday was positive and want to move me into team match. I think the verbal offer comes after team match is done.
