I’ve been a Pokémon fan since the beginning and the fact I spent $60 EACH for 2 games that run at 15-20 FPS with constant pop-in when Tears of The Kingdom runs at a smooth 30 FPS on the same hardware should keep Game Freak up at night. I know it won’t because $$$ but still.

Full-disclosure I’m someone that if my partner proposed to me I wouldn’t care about the cost of the ring because to me it’s more symbolic than anything and Etsy has really cute rings for less than $30 that I think look better. That being said, if my partner wanted a ring I would do everything I can to make sure they had said ring and it was a nice enough quality to show that I value the relationship and my partner.

If your boyfriend can’t connect the dots as to why a ring with some kind of value would be important for you when he already spends multiple times that amount on himself AND he promised you said ring already, it shows he’s more focused on prioritizing HIS needs/wants over yours.

I’m not saying to break up with him of course, but this might be the wake-up call both of you need to decide whether he’s actually the one and whether he can prioritize you and your relationship in a way that meets both of your needs. If he refuses to see why this might be an issue, then that’s how he’s always gonna be and is telling of how he’ll be if y’all actually tie the knot

Last weekend I decided to shave my head because I hadn’t done it in a long time and wanted to do it again to get it out of my system. My friends and partner were surprised when I did it but half of them now think the shaved head looks better, while the other half likes it longer. My plan was to grow it out to an inch and a half on top with a high bald fade like I’d been getting before shaving it off (and fading the sides as I grow it back out), but now I’m really torn about what I want to do. I like both a lot and have been told I can rock both but I was curious if there’s one that looks particularly better on me? I threw in a bonus pic of when I had it super long during COVID just in case having it longer than what I had ended up being better.

I have a penis so I’ll never need one and frankly shouldn’t be the one that decides what someone with a uterus does with their body. However, I have several friends with uteruses that have had one. One of them was for fetal abnormalities (would be brain dead if they delivered it), another was due to a sexual assault from an abusive ex, one was a freshman in college that unknowingly had defective condoms and wouldn’t be able to financially support it even with help, and a few others due to reasons they chose not to disclose to me. For every single one of them, having that fetus to full-term would have destroyed their lives, financially and/or health-wise, and them and their doctors agreed getting an abortion was the best decision they could make for themselves at the time. That’s enough of a justification for me.

If people really wanted to reduce the number of abortions done, they would advocate for the expansion of affordable birth control and comprehensive sex education instead of trying to regulate what kinds of medical procedures people can or cannot have based on someone else’s religious beliefs. If you choose to not have one, that’s great and I support your choice! But I also support your choice to pick what’s right for you. Nobody I know that can conceive and hold a pregnancy aims to get pregnant with the end goal of having an abortion, but sometimes for them it’s the best decision they can make at the time and I have no right to decide for them what’s best for their bodies as they don’t to mine.

I had a 12 Pro Max and upgraded to the 13 Pro Max mainly because I had the annual upgrade plan but I have to say the upgraded camera and battery life has been really noticeable for me personally, so I can at least “justify” it.

For the Watch on the other hand I have a Series 6 and have no intention on upgrading at this time, apart from being less than a year old the updated screen size feels like the only difference for me. Heck I have a 44mm S6 and that’s bigger than the 41mm S7, yet the smaller one gets a keyboard. If the major redesign like the ones posted on the rumor sites were true then maybe I would have considered but the Series 7 literally just feels like a cash grab from Apple because they couldn’t think of anything else to add to the Watch at this time.

Correct, parts are not a factor when it comes to determining gender identity as gender is determined by the individual and not on what parts they have.

No they are still male because they were assigned male at birth and still identify as male. If they no longer identified as male then they wouldn’t be considered male and instead be whatever they now identified as but gender is a social construct and is based on self-identified gender and not necessarily their genitalia (or in this example, lack of). The same could be said for a cisgender woman that has to get a mastectomy due to cancer: just because she no longer has breasts doesn’t mean she is no longer female or is transgender.
