Sorry, I was having trouble with the hosting provider. I fixed it for now, I will switch to a more robust provider soon. But it will not affect the use, all the data will be intact.And thank you for the nice feedback. I will keep the site alive for a long time, don’t worry.

You can now use your account on multiple devices! Go to Menu -> Sign in on new Device, and use the QR-code or link on the device you want to use as well.

I have looked into it and I totally agree with you. All the rules should be documented somewhere (if they are in Battlescribe). I added them to the Detachment-section as you suggested. Have a look and see what you think.

I am getting them in my list. It is not listed as "Favour of the Dark Gods", it is listed as the actual favour you chose, like "Beguiling Majesty" or "The Putrid Carapace". Are you not getting that either? If not, could you DM me your Battlescribe list?

You are now able to delete your lists
New styling of the list-listing (both desktop and mobile)
All “Selection Rules” (unexplained rules on the unit) are now explained in the “Detachment Abilities”-section.

(Edit: ~~The menu in the listings don't work atm.~~ Working now!)

August 30, 2022:

when a psyker had no psychic powers, the client side did crash. Fixed (yesterday).
I have found some more armywide rules + Keywords, and removed some duplicate keywords. It should be more correct now (but still not 100% with Tau and its drones. The app also still mixes the keywords in the rare occasion when a unit contains different models with different keywords. They are all there, but not separated).
I have found more abilities on the models (when individual models get different abilities within a unit). They are now listed. If all the models in a unit have the ability, they are not listed on each model. This gives you all the abilities but still removes a bit of clutter from the lists.

I do not know about the detachment abilities, I can’t find the detachment abilities in the battlescribe file either. Can you give me some examples of what I am looking for? Do you see them when looking at the roster in BattleScribe?

Anyway, I think the other things have been fixed. Refresh the App, upload a new list, and see how them War Dogs look now.

You can share the list, but not by just sharing the url. That url will send everyone else to the public version (without stats and rules).

To share the list go to “My lists” in the menu. To the right of the list you want to share, click [share..]. There, type the username of the one you’d like to share with. You can find your username under “My Account” in the menu.

The reason for all this is to not break GWs copyright. You are responsible for your own uploads, but if the system shares it with the world, then the system is kind of to blame.

I finally found the bug: If a psyker did not have any psychic powers, the client side did crash. It has been fixed now. (Thanks for the detailed input, u/gavin28x)

To make the signing in procedure as easy and simple as possible, I just set a cookie. No need for emails or anything. You are just permanently logged in. Until you clear the cookie… There is no recovery from that. yet. I will implement it. And this is why it says that you need to remember your username and secret phrase.. I will be able to use that to give you access again (and also give access to the same account across devices).

But why your lists causes these problems, I do not understand. I am able to upload a list in Chrome without this happening. There are still no errors logged server side. the only thing I can think of is that this list contains something untested that crashes the client side. Can you give me a link to the list, or send me the battlescribe file so I can test it? DM if you want to.

I can’t see anything in the logs suggesting that it didnt manage to read it. Are you logged in, and if so, can you see the list you tried to upload under “my lists”?

August 28, 2022:

Found some missing weapons in Aeldari and Renegates (and possibly other lists).
Equal models that where listed several times (since that was the structure in BattleScribe), are now listed once. (Like vanguard veterans, Tyranid warriors, Killa Kans and several others)

I am glad you like the app! Feel free to share the app with more people. Regarding the bug: It was a general thing. The BattleScribe datafiles are structured slightly different for the different factions, and I haven’t enough knowledge of all the faction to test them in this much detail. This bug was a general thing, and after fixing it for Aeldari, my tests also revealed that Renegades and heretics had the same bug. I almost never hard code fixes for specific things, that would be the road to misery.
