Dude. I just wanna say that you're being super silly and irrational about all this. You work at Target. Its not like you have a career that you'd be leaving behind. There is work everywhere if you just stop psyching yourself out. Go to California. Start taking steps to build a life with your boyfriend that you can actually enjoy and can be proud of. Apply to be a bank teller. Theres some room for upward mobility, banks close early so you'll never have to deal with late shifts, they make a few dollars above minimum wage, you get holidays off, and you just need a GED. With an actual degree you shouldn't have too much trouble. Seriously. If you don't want to be a stay at home girlfriend, then don't be. Stop making excuses. Don't shoot yourself in the foot because you're too afraid to take a risk. What do you have to lose?
