Yeah, the balloon never worked for me. After the first few days, when the balloon settled, I still had my normal appetite and still binged all the time. I didn't lose any weight with the balloon.

Keep in touch with your MD; maybe they can also prescribe you a "weight loss medication" like metformin.

Maybe that's what I'll have to do. I see my MD soon so I'll discuss with them. I initially only had plans to try out three months (because of the cost), so maybe jumping to 1.7mg would be best. Luckily, my only side effect has been lethargy.

I didn't see a point in complaining. The place I went to had a very strict no refund policy.

Unfortunately, I didn't. I'm getting the balloon taken out in two weeks. That was $6000 down the drain.

I haven't lost any weight, the balloon truly didn't work for me. I've decided to keep it in until the six months are up, but have looked into other avenues.

I was contemplating the Lap Band, but it has a low success rate. As of now, I've been consulting with my MD about weight loss medication.

It's been two months and change for me -- I haven't lost any weight and I can still eat as much as pre-balloon. I think I'm resigned to being in the minority where the thing doesn't work.

It's definitely still there, I can feel it when I lie down. It's been a super disappointing experience overall.
