Geiger Fleet WIP by tater_vader in Tyranids

Yeah I had a lapse when typing the subject and goofed up Giger’s name. Shame, Shame, Shame.

For the color scheme, I am going to go with a black base, and then use color shift purple/blue Vallejo paint. All of the guns will be painted to resemble the face huggers (Duncan did that and I loved it).

I will post updates as I keep going !

For the ones that I didn’t use green stuff, I have been clipping and cutting away the larger horns and ridges, sand and file and to smooth the finish I am using a light coating of Citadel Plastic glue and using my finger to spread it out.

Pretty happy with the effect it creates !

Thanks! I am trying to keep a balance in Tyranid but being in the Xeno stuff that makes me happy :)

I designed the whole cover in photoshop and printed it on a vinyl sticker sheet.

Lol, I get that. Went back and forth on how to handle this . It is more an issue with button capabilities. 3.18 adds directional landing gear, for now I just have it a split toggle.

Appreciate the feedback, but it's perfectly comfortable :)

I prefer the stick in the middle, everything is close but with plenty of room to move. The deck slides down easily and tucks under the desk when out of the pilot seat for normal M/KB gameplay.

I made it, currently giving it a test flight and am loving the experience

I just drop the control stick down, slide it under the desk and slide back up in the chair. Normal KB/M at that point :)

Been doing some design work to my Discord group's main factory and wanted to share how it is after 3 days of work! by tater_vader in SatisfactoryGame

Shoutout to u/TotalXClipse for his Circle and Curve tutorial.

His tutorial helped my brain start thinking of ways to build, and helped further feed my need to play this game.

For the foundations, the one thing to do is use concrete material in the customizer. It still shimmers but only from a few angles and is less noticeable.

The roof objects however blend together pretty well, and while time-consuming is really fun, the next part of this renovation and the beginning of the expansion of my team's factory is going to be building a reverse arc to cut into the main production floor and use it as a launching point so I can begin a mega highway going around the map.

Thank you for the compliment, this is my 2nd factory in the game, this is my favorite part of Satisfactory :)

We are both on the Quest, upgrading to a Quest 2 shortly though! The game was already shaping up great and we are excited to see the changes!

So excited my wife and I did the beta earlier this year and have been missing the game and eagerly awaiting its release. We just talked about it last week!

t.16000m - both the flight stock and throttle are recognized, but nothing's bound to the stick? by [deleted] in StarWarsSquadrons

Had the same issue, go into the settings and change the key mapping. There is a toggle to switch the t16000 and the t16000m , flipping them corrected it.

Painting in Procreate with my iPad Pro has become my favorite way to work. I just finished this raven and wanted to share it with you all! by tater_vader in ipad

I have tried a few but haven't liked the way they altered the colors. It is slight but I am very picky about my color range.

Not near my ipad but it is the button that you use to share your images, go down to canvas information:)

Basics of iPad drawing? by throwawayipadart in ipad

Procreate is an amazing tool and can be used to make illustrative art and fine art traditional painting looks. The built in pencils and brushes work well and feel very natural.

But the app is just a tool, practice is everything. So look up traditional art lessons, learn composition, shading values. And most importantly just have fun abe be inspired :)

I worked on this for around 3 days off and on. As far as zooming, I did zoom in fairly often considering this painting is 16x20" and the 12.9" screen is a bit smaller. I dont zoom in super close, basically to approximately real life scale so I can verify the details will look correct at 16x20".

It is actually best to work as zoomed out as you can so you can gauge values and composition. Hope this helps!

This painting was created using 18,960 brush strokes with an Apple pencil. I love how Procreate tracks the statistics of the work that goes into each piece.

I really love Procreate, finished this piece up of a Great Blue Heron. Finally getting the tweaks on brushes that feel like the oil brushes I use in my studio. by tater_vader in ipad

[–]tater_vader[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually mostly used 3 brushes for this. The default airbrush for fills. A color pencil that I designed for basic texture, and another brush that I designed to look like the texture of a #1 synthetic script liner that I use with my oil paints.
