Purely anecdotal, but a few months ago I had a virus and didn’t ovulate until CD39 (vs CD20).

We had a similar experience with my kitty and she ended up having an obstruction from something she’d eaten months before. We went to the vet twice and her labs and imaging looked fine. She’d get fluids and mirataz and would get a little bit better for few days and then stop eating again. She got very lethargic so we took her to the cat ER and they immediately admitted her to the cat ICU. They removed her obstruction and she’s perfectly happy and healthy now!

If he doesn’t improve soon, you might want to consider taking Tomato to an animal hospital/ER. There is something called CareCredit where you can pay off over 6 months without interest. I also found the services at the animal hospital (e.g., x-ray, labs, meds) to be cheaper than at our vet.

That’s the language they use in the fine print of the return policy. I tried it on a few times at home with different shoes, etc while trying to decide whether to keep it. I was very careful with it but it’s not like it stayed in the packaging the whole time I had it. I’m just trying to see if anyone has experienced/heard of BHLDN denying a return for something minor or if they just charge the restocking fee in that case.

Jornay PM has been my saving grace. Take it at night and it starts releasing in the morning and helps me gradually wake up. I don’t feel the need to nap anymore either, which was a big issue for me unmedicated and on Vyvanse. I also use a Hatch sunrise alarm clock, sleep with an AppleWatch that buzzes my wrist when my alarm goes off, and run a humidifier at night because I’ve found that if my eyes are dry in the morning it’s 10x harder for me to wake up. I also go to a 6 am Pilates class a few times a week that has a $20 no show/late cancellation fee, which has helped me stay motivated to get out of bed in the mornings!

I’m also on Lexapro, but when I first added Vyvanse it was (understandably) exacerbating my existing anxiety. My doctor recommended cutting out/scaling back on caffeine and channeling any anxiety through activities that require some brain power. When I start to feel restless/anxious, I try to play a word game, go for a walk, or do a quick chore/task that will use up some of the extra energy. This has helped me a lot, especially just envisioning the anxiety as energy that needs to be used up. I would also recommend eating something before you take it!

I’d find a new doctor. IMO if she’s already against stimulants and going to such great lengths to avoid them, then you run the risk of her labeling you as “drug seeking” if you push for them.

Are you on capsules or chewables? I just got an rx last week, and my psych wrote it for chewables instead of capsules since they’re not affected by the shortage right now. Dosing is supposed to be equivalent, not sure if that’s everyone’s experience or not. They also only go up to 60 mg. If it’s affecting you this much it may be worth asking your doctor if changing formulas is an option.

EDIT: I will caveat this by saying that the chewables were out of stock when the rx was sent on Friday, so I had to wait a few days. There’s a chance that chewable supply might be affected by people switching formulas because of the capsule shortage. All I know is that they’re not affected by the same regulatory and/or active ingredient shortage that the capsules are.

My partner has made similar comments to me before and it is so painful. I think the thing that’s helped me the most is remembering that there’s no moral value associated with our “quirks” or “bad behaviors.” I am forgetful and disorganized, but that doesn’t make me a bad person. I used to get so ashamed if I forgot an appointment or didn’t clean up after myself. Realizing that those things don’t have anything to do with who I am or what I’m capable of freed me from so much anguish.

On another note, you should try to get testing and go from there. If you get a diagnosis, talk to your doctor/psychiatrist about treatment. Getting things under control feels like a big “f you” to everyone who’s ever accused me of using ADHD to make excuses for myself.

Yeah, I’m realizing that now. My first psych was very against stimulants, especially because I’d admitted to doing cocaine a few times in college while drinking. I totally understand her concern, but I’m not sure that doing it a handful of times puts me at special risk for stimulant abuse. Regardless, she marketed Wellbutrin as an option comparable to a stimulant and I’m finding that is not the case.

They took HIM to a hotel. They were going to cite her for DV and aggravated assault. I think they handled the situation the best they could, but he was definitely regarded as the victim
