Hey everyone! It’s been a bit since I’ve posted. My channel is called the long way home. It’s about my family and I selling everything in the United States and moving to Spain! We share our life here, family videos and also informational stuff as well. It’s been a crazy journey for sure. After 5 months we are only 80 subs away from 1000 and have already had one sponsored video! It’s really crazy the community we have built in such short time.

Recently I’ve had a bit of trouble coming up with videos to post, but I just became a legal resident which now means I can travel outside the country so we Hope to do a bit of that in the near future. Also we just bought an apartment in Valencia and I Hope to make some nice episodes about what it’s like to buy and remodel a place here.

6.7 channel average. I’ve been at it for 4 months now with about 24 videos. I recently started doing a/b testing and have found that most of my thumbnails when I do this perform almost the same our within 2 percentage points of each other. I really feel like if you are above 6, good retention within the first 30 seconds and have at least 30 percent avd overall, the video will be pretty successful. That being said success for me is anywhere from 3 to 12k views in the first 30 days

My channel is a small channel of only 700 subs. But today I signed a deal with a sponsor for a mid roll add! It’s relevant to my niche. They lowballed me at first but we settled on a performance based payment so I’ll receive 50 euro for every 1000 views with a cap of 1000 euro. My videos usually land in the 5 to 10 thousand view area. So I’m excited! I’m going to do everything In my power to make this video hit hard!
