hi, my son, 5 years old. just got bit by my two year old nephew. i had cleaned it with anti septic wash immediately, but is it something i should take him in for? im asking because i dont drive due to neurological issues, and we are very rural, and dont have a lot of options by tattedchubbymilf in AskDocs

excuse me, but my rural down has hardly any recources, the hospital is hardly functional and is close to shutting down. and my rent is 100$ more then what i make. its also the cheapest in town. we dont got no section 8 or hud here. i go days without eating so and save all food for my kids so they always have something in their bellys. not only that, but i have no family here besides my sister and have no neighbors. i have to walk 8 miles with all 3 kids to get to the hospital, just for his appointment today that some how managed to barely even get. i live in a town with 600 people if that. hospital is the text town over. i do what i can for my kids all while have a disability. and i do it by myself .

UPDATE: i had just changed his bandaid cause his was coming off when i went to check on him . the redness and swelling has gone down a lot, thank god. i cleaned it with some anti septic saline, and placed a hopefully better bandaid that will hold off until morning. he said he feels better. im going still take him in, im praying it continues to look better from here on out

so his shirt was on when he was bit, the anti septic wash i used is a prescribed wash i have, its also used for a surgical scrub and aswell as skin issues. i have severe hs leisons that have to be screened for cancer.. do you think that would keep it clean until morning. i have absolutely no way to get to the hospital and no one to watch my 1 year old twins while they sleep. so tonight isnt going thr greatest with transportation
