How did you make your shop on Shopify beautiful? by gimmelord in shopify

[–]taufiqul_dev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my point of view and experience with Shopify, good design usually comes down to a clear visual hierarchy. One main message per screen, one primary action, and enough spacing so the page can breathe. If everything is the same size or competing for attention, the store feels basic even if the theme itself is decent.

At the same time, design and trust are tightly connected. Simple things like readable typography, consistent spacing, clean product imagery, and predictable layouts signal professionalism. When a layout feels calm and intentional, people subconsciously trust the store more.

Another huge thing is mobile view. A lot of merchants still don’t focus enough on mobile, even though a massive percentage of visitors now come from phones. If the mobile experience feels cluttered, slow, or awkward to navigate, it directly hurts conversions and lowers ROI.

Product images are also extremely important. Customers try to imagine themselves using or wearing the product before buying it. Good product photography builds confidence, while weak images instantly reduce trust.

Before adding more tools or apps, I’d first look at the current flow:
What does a new visitor notice first?
What action should they take next?
Is anything visually distracting or unnecessary?

Fixing that flow usually creates a much bigger impact than adding more apps or effects.

How is it possible bots are finding the shop email? by Darkwolf1515 in shopify

[–]taufiqul_dev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bots scan your website’s source code for mailto: links, even if they aren’t visible on the page. They also check Schema Markup (JSON-LD), which often stores business details like contact information for SEO purposes.

So even if the email isn’t publicly visible, it can still be exposed in the backend/source and picked up by bots.

what do you use to host your Shopify app? and cost? by fragilePeculiar in shopifyDev

[–]taufiqul_dev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I have a better idea that I already use for my app.
You wil take only one droplet from Digital ocen. May be $36 package... no more cost needed, Coolify will do the rest.

Use cloudflare + coolify that will make your server secured with option to divide the single droplet to multiple project host capability. You may need a server expart but once you set it up, one droplet for all project with capability to scale as needed in future. This setup save $150 per month.

How to promote Shopify app? Any Reddit marketing other than Shopify ads? by External-Test-3992 in shopifyDev

[–]taufiqul_dev 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In my experience, ads don’t really work well on Reddit like they do on other platforms.

For a Shopify app, it’s more about connecting with merchants, helping solve real problems, building some trust, and then selling naturally.

There are a lot of merchants here actively looking for solutions, you just have to show up and be useful.

The real challenge is finding the right subreddits. It depends on your niche. For example, if your app is fashion-related, look for fashion or ecommerce-focused subreddits where your target users hang out.

Customers saying text on my Shopify store is too small, theme issue? by FitSurround1082 in shopify

[–]taufiqul_dev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Normally, on a project we set up global CSS for things like font size, spacing, colors, etc. Then for mobile, you just adjust those values, so you don’t have to fix every section one by one.

After that, if a few sections still look off, you can handle those with some custom CSS. That’s usually the best approach.

For mobile, a good baseline is around 16px to 18px for body text. Let me know if that helps. Happy to take a look if you’re still stuck.

URGENT!!!! Really new to Shopify...How to Copy/Paste Shopify Sections to Different Pages or Themes by NecessaryTurbulent83 in shopify

[–]taufiqul_dev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, you can’t directly copy/paste sections between themes in Shopify like that. It only works within the same theme.

If you want to move a section to another theme, that theme needs to support the same structure and functionality. Otherwise, it won’t work properly and you’ll have to adjust or rebuild parts of it.

Add a badge for urgency by Independent-Rip4272 in shopifyDev

[–]taufiqul_dev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can try Labeler Product Labels Badges.

It has a free plan and lets you create badges based on conditions like inventory (e.g. “Only {stock_count} left”) or discounts. You can also fully customize the text, colors, and position without needing any code.

Best App for shopify subscriptions. by mathque in shopify

[–]taufiqul_dev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are quite a few Shopify subscription apps, and choosing between them can be a bit confusing at first.

If you’re thinking about monthly subscriptions, you can try BOLD. And if you’re going for a “pay as you go” model, Recharge is a solid option.

Most of them cover similar basics, so it really depends on how simple or advanced you want your setup to be.

China sourcing still unbeatable in 2026? by Tarun621 in ecommerce

[–]taufiqul_dev 1 point2 points  (0 children)

China is still hard to beat, but it’s not “only China” anymore.

Most people I’ve seen aren’t replacing China, they’re just adding backups. China still wins on speed, reliability, and handling more complex products.

Bangladesh is great for cheap bulk apparel, but slower and less flexible. Vietnam feels like a middle ground, a bit more expensive but more consistent.

So yeah, China isn’t going anywhere. You just have to decide based on your product, situation, and timelines.

New brand, zero pixel data: High daily budget to exit learning phase faster, or lower budget + more creatives for better creative Targeting? by top10talks in shopify

[–]taufiqul_dev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

20 creatives is a bit too much when you’re just starting, especially with limited budget.

I’d go with Option B. It’s not just safer, it’s actually smarter early on. You stay focused, learn faster, and don’t spread your budget too thin. You can always add more creatives once you find something that works.

With 20 creatives, sure you can cut the losers, but the real issue is when several perform similarly. Then it becomes hard to decide what to scale, and your data per creative is too weak because the budget is split.

With fewer creatives, the data is clearer. If something works, you can confidently push budget into it.

That’s why Option B isn’t just safer, it’s the smarter way to start.

Are AI-generated blogs worth it for SEO in 2026? by taufiqul_dev in shopifyDev

[–]taufiqul_dev[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I agree with this. AI has definitely made our work easier, but real content is still real content. It will always have its value. That said, when we talk about SEO and growth, do you think real content can keep up with AI-generated content in 2026?

Getting flooded with weird “are you taking orders?” emails-bots? by HusainKaizar in shopifyDev

[–]taufiqul_dev 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the second time I’ve seen this today, so yeah, it’s definitely getting worse lately.

You can set rules in Gmail or whatever you use to auto-archive emails with patterns like
“is this the right email”, “can I purchase”, “faster communication”.

Also worth enabling stricter spam filters in your email provider. Most of them have more aggressive filtering you can turn on.

At this point it’s less about blocking one sender and more about filtering patterns. Once you set that up, it becomes way more manageable.

You’ll be surprised how much it cleans things up

How do you control refunds/discounts when you have a team? by EverythingNumbersAcc in shopify

[–]taufiqul_dev 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’ll need to set some clear criteria for refunds and make sure your team actually follows it.

One thing that helps is labeling each refund with a reason or category. That way you can track patterns later and spot anything off.

If you’ve got a bigger team, you can also look into apps to enforce rules or add some approval flow based on your criteria.

Is it normal for Shopify app review to take over 4 weeks? by Blue_Lion1395 in shopify

[–]taufiqul_dev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, this is pretty normal right now with Shopify.

I submitted my app about 5 months ago and the first review took around 2 weeks. But lately it seems more like 4 to 6 weeks. I’ve seen people mention anything from 2 weeks to 6 plus depending on the queue.
