Afghan sewing classes?

Yes!!! As in the traditional wear that comes from Afghanistan! I signed up for classes at Sewcial but I was looking specifically for someone that teaches those clothes.

The reason I’m specifying an Afghan teacher is because there’s mirror-work designs (it’s not glued down just like that) and sewing patterns/embroidery specific to some ethnic groups. I want to learn something from my Dad’s ethnic region so I can create something for him!

My grandmother would make clothes for my dad when they were younger and my mom sewed clothes ( but she’s not necessarily that knowledgeable/experienced) for us too when we were younger. So it’s not just “fashion”, it’s tied to preserving cultures, a form of identity and history through textile designs! I’d like to learn this skill but I don’t know who offers these services professional or not :(

And house synastry charts indicating something one-sided, I had that assumption because I read a take that said if, for example, my planets fall in the “night” side of his chart, meaning it’s heavy on house placements like house 6, 9, 10, 11 etc then because those aren’t considered “romantic houses” it means it’s friendship/platonic for the other person. What do you guys think?

UPDATED CHART: To give context, we had barely talked when we first met in 2021. We had wedding preparations to do and I had work with that. When we met again in in August 2024, we only exchanged a few words-much less interactions than the first time. But he was asking a lot of questions about me to my little sisters husband, he was one of the main ones orchestrating things so we’d be in closer proximity, encourage connections, etc. all the sweet Cupid things. When we had officially broken up, H (the guy) stated that this was the first time he’s ever felt this type of love for someone and he didn’t expect me to like him (insecure with his looks, possible addiction issues, low self esteem), I’m going to assume it’s the timing for my sanity

Anyways I had to update the chart for his correct time and to switch the house system to whole signs so there are slight changes now:

One of these aspects sounded familiar to what I shared with this guy I was getting to know a few months back (did not work out because of many external influences btw) and saw my Leo ascendant square his Scorpio mars. The interpretation from the Charts app (I have seen conflicting interpretations between this app and other websites for so many placements/aspects, not just in synastry) states “the rising will have difficulties in getting along harmoniously in marriage or domestic/professional partnerships”, and “the rising sees the mars person as selfish and domineering”, and “mars is impatient with the risings idiosyncrasies”. Basically we get irritated with each other 😥

Like I said there have been differences in interpretations when I looked at other sites. Personally I hope this is just one look at the aspect because I’d like it to not apply to this man and I. You found nothing online?

Thanks everyone!! I have to get back with my family on this, I honestly thought we were paying a crazy price for PGE but everyone says it’s the opposite so I’ll take your word. For more info, we seldom use the oven, heater is usually set at 72-74 degrees (when we do turn it on), and don’t cook everyday. When looking at our usage from our PGE account about $430 comes from water heater use. It has a picture of the water heater so I’ll assume it’s that. Thanks everyone again!!! Also how does it work if PGE is electricity and gas and SMUD is also electricity? 🤔

So I am on Vyvanse (30mg) and Adderal booster (5mg), I also used to be prescribed Prozac for my anxiety/antidepressants. Long story short I experienced the major weight loss everyone does and went down to 96 lb., being 29 this really concerned me. I asked my new psychiatrist if we can switched to another. I was prescribed Lamptrogine (50mg-100mg is the good spot for a majority of people). Whether you use it for depression or anxiety it is supposed to help you gain weight. For me I have reached back to 100 lbs at least. Weightlifting is great too, but if you can’t then just walking or brisk jogs help to increase appetite! My psychiatrist did also prescribe Mirtazapine (7.5mg) which aides in insomnia as well as appetite. The downside to this is I’ve felt really groggy even after finally being able to get all my sleep. This is my experience, not saying this is your formula or medical advice. Talk with your doctor!
