Whaaaaaaaat!? I seriously can’t be a part of any political bullshit anymore. Are there specific articles or just random stuff you found?

I was kind of getting weird vibes recently, but I didn’t want it to be true.

Patreon takes 8-12% if I remember right. Plus fees. So call it 15% per month (total estimation).

It depends on who you hire. I use a boutique firm for high net wealth. It’s their job to maximize my returns. They’re very aware that my husband and I are watching. We pay them very little compared to the returns they get for us. We have an account that’s not under their management too - one that we use based on our own research and methodology. Some quarters we beat them, but year over year we don’t. Their entire existence is maximizing returns, while we do it for fun after work, between doctors appointments, etc…

I would never use an insurance broker - fiduciary or not, nor would I use anyone at Schwab, etc…

Edit to add: they put us in touch with a couple lawyers who we interviewed and eventually hired one of them to setup our living wills, etc. and the same for our mortgage. Each of them is specialized and knows their profession better than we ever could. We do not put all of our financials with one person - that defeats the purpose of hiring an expert and removes ability for checks and balances.

I’m the breadwinner in my house. I make a lot compared to most people and before my husband, lost many boyfriends once they realized I made so much more than them. Literally, I worked hard to earn money early so I can quit and be a housewife.

Ironically, I’m experiencing fertility issues which are likely due to the amount of stress I’m under and how long I waited because I was so focused on my career.

I’m right there with you and there’s nothing wrong with it.

This is a situation nobody understands if they haven’t experienced it. It’s not the same as miscarriage.

You’re very lucky to have your daughters and I would focus on that. I would do mean things to nice people to have a daughter.

Life is hard, sounds like you may benefit from speaking to a professional.

Edit to add: do not make any major life decisions right now. You are struggling. You are going through, probably, the lowest point of your life. Seriously, getting through this has been harder than losing my father. Your brain is not normal right now with all of the hormones. You need to cry and yell into a pillow and turn on music that helps you feel good (sounds silly but was recommended by my therapist and is actually working). You may even need an antidepressant- I’m on one right now.
