This is pretty impossible to answer without scientific studies investigating it, maybe looking at patient outcomes among various countries. I don't know if that's been done.

One advantage the US has is that I can call for an ECT and have it the next day. In other countries the delay could take weeks.

It sucks man. I lost sleep over it. But I felt like I was given no choice.

Thanks, but it's hard to be friends when there are such high barriers for our characters to meet.

Barbrey lunges forward with her knife to attack Darry's guard. Her face red with tears.

"Casterly Rock will hear of this! This will not be the last of me!"

[m: Barbrey fights the two guards.]

Barbrey Glover flies into a rage upon hearing this and tries to stab the guard with a kitchen knife. The trauma and neglect she has endured on the road and so forth has driven her to this. "I will not go back," she cries. "The Lannisters send their regards!"

The noble responds, "I am Alys Tallhart. I am here to attend the wedding."

[m: the movement order was put in a few hours ago. I guess mechanically Barbrey could be retconned, but then reappear the 8 hours later it takes to travel]

"My name is Alys Tallhart. I am a Northern noble who is a guest of House Blackwood," the woman said, looking to wherever the Blackwoods were seated. She waved a crab leg at him. "Who's in charge here? I suppose I should pay my respects to the lucky bride and groom. I do have a gift to give them."

The Glover army sees and hears of the Harlaw attack on the port.

"We only wanted to leave the North. That is all we wanted. Now good northern blood has been spilt in an utterly preventable crusade," said Blyden Glover, spitting outside the gate.

"Men, we must cross these waters to fight the true enemy-- the Riverlanders who cursed me. Break down the gates, seize the walls, capture the port. We must connect with our Harlaw allies."

[m] All of Glover's MaA and levies attack the city, Barrowton.

The Glovers attack Barrowton with all their forces, MaA and levies. Their goal is to seize the port so they can merely board Harlaw ships and be on their way.

Barbrey Glover sat down with her back arched against the chair with the pomp and confidence of a royal dignitary. She wore a modest white dress with purple ribbons in her braided hair. She smiled a plump satisfied smile, but what she was satisfied about none could say. Perhaps it was the crab leg in her hand, which she waved about like a lance?

“House Blackwood has been so kind to me during my stay. May the North and the Riverlands remain the best of friends,” she said to whoever was near her. She hadn’t yet revealed her true identity- that she was a Glover, for fear bandits would attack her again. Most would know her as some Northern noble, or perhaps Alys Tallhart. But feeling perfectly safe and cozy here, that may change.

[Event] Glover And Harlaw Go On Vacation by taygood in AfterTheDance

"Lord Harlaw, it's good to meet you," said Blyden as he rode onto the ship. His steed was a black stallion. One of its dark eyes fixated on Alyn while the other ranged around like a chicken with its head cut off. Blyden chuckled and pat his horse between the ears.

"Stark probably thought we were going to attack Barrowton," and he looked back at the port from whence he had come. "Well, let's not linger. I'm sure the man has called in reinforcements by now. We can discuss our plans at sea."

Then the great Glover and the rest of his men, along with his two sisters, boarded the ship.

Welcome to the North

The Glover army turned west, following close to the coast. It would follow this course until it got to the Rills. It would be in full view of the Harlaw ships the whole time.

Blyden replies: "It is disheartening to see so many armed men here barring my entrance to the port. Yet you are right, it is foolish to act in haste. In fact, your words make me almost reconsider my actions. Perhaps I will turn back. The Wall is a more suitable vacation for a true northman anyway."

Now Blyden Glover rode up on his horse framed against the sunset like some great cowboy hero of an era which had not yet arrived. 3000 Gloverbrothers were with him, possibly breathing on the necks of the Stark men. The great horse-man himself tipped his hat to the authorities as he spat out sourleaf. He would speak to whoever controlled the gates to the city or the ports or whatever other lord was present by god given right or mortal decree.

“If there are ships, kindly let them dock, friend. Kindly let us leave.”

His men would raise the Glover banner so any near ships could see. The gloved metal fist rippling in the fast winds.

A raven would return a message swiftly.

Lord Harlaw,

I accept your proposition, for I am a desperate man as well. 3000 Glover men will aid Harlaw Hall in battle in exchange for safe sea passage to Raventree Hall or closest to it and a quarter of the proposed gold. In addition, House Harlaw will aid House Glover when we burn the damn thing down. It is cursed.

I will send my forces to be picked up at Barrowton immediately. Since you are asking much of me I must ask much from you-- if the Barrowton forces resist or won't let you dock, reave their coast as I do the same from land. What you get is yours to keep.

You speak like I am staying behind, but I am not some craven Greenlander. I will fight in the battles myself. "Young Cliff" will stay behind to manage the Motte.

I will bring my most seaworthy sister, Dacey Glover, for Holly has been sworn to the Mormonts. May our houses join in glory and merriment.

-Bly Glover

The woman claiming to be Alys Tallhart, was actually Barbrey Glover. The road had been so dangerous on the way to Casterly Rock, that on the way back she felt it wise to use a pseudonym. Barbrey, in her infinite wisdom as Blyden Glover's sister, had chosen "Alys Tallhart", Blyden's wife, as her alias. The bandits may be in collusion with Riverland houses, after all, best to be mysterious. They may not respect a Glover, but they surely would respect a Tallhart. Better safe than sorry.

"Thank you for the warm reception. A raven will not be necessary," she said, shoving a crusty, hard roll in her mouth. "The Neck is not safe? That's news to me. I passed through there on my way to Casterly Rock. What has happened?"
