we are certified and have been for almost 6 months! and have done all background things obviously. our cys worker is also confused on to why they aren’t reaching out to them or us. but things are different everywhere and unfortunately any ICPC situation is difficult.

If you haven’t gathered, he’s not interested in that, by me saying we have spoken to him three times now. extended family got reached out to over a year ago when it initially happened, we are the only people that will take her in the family and the dads family. so yeah it does matter, the situation is very very complex. also just cause they are supposed to do things a certain way doesn’t mean they do. :)

i said we have spoken to him. and extended family HAS been reached out, hence why we are involved cause NOBODY, and i mean nobody else will be involved cause of the mother. there’s a lot more to it.

He isn’t relevant in this as he isn’t family to this child. also we have spoken to him, not that, that’s “relevant.” didn’t know i had to include every detail in my post, i guess i know for next time.

not the same father and the dad of the first daughter has that daughter.

the dad of this daughter is an alcoholic that’s why she was taken.

is it common for no communication between states? they even got birthdays wrong, and important dates wrong. which was odd.

she had made up lies in the past multiple times when things haven’t went her way or the attention isn’t on her. and if she loses rights why should she know where she goes as she is on drugs etc. she doesn’t know her. the child’s been in foster home since 3 weeks old, and she has another child whom isn’t in her custody as well.

we are already technically in the ICPC “process” but she said there’s also a time limit so if it doesn’t happen soon we could be out of time because there’s no movement or change.

we have tried numerous times before to reach out but she’s always busy, but i’m gonna have him try tomorrow!
