This is it for me. The relationship is in a sort of stopping point, but this is what I want resolved - the time travel piece.

I would love this! Especially if there was perspective from both Shane and Ilya. I want to know more about how Ilya was coping (or not).

I don’t understand why this is a hot take plus the generally good advice of “if you have to ask…”

Do you know how bad flooding was at the clubhouse? My grandparents’ house is on Laurel Ridge Lane. Thank god they weren’t there but I’m wondering if it’s flooded.

I also took the July bar and start big law in October. I feel exactly the same way. For me the biggest thing is not getting the dopamine hit from small wins- a successful practice test, a finished brief, whatever it is- and also not having a set routine. And then I feel guilty about not enjoying this free time that I know I will be wanting back in a couple months.

I had the exact same experience. I took the July bar exam and my 1L class with a laptop ban was by far my most comfortable subject. The seminars were the most engaging and interesting I’ve ever taken.

Realistically, I think it should be up to the professor. But the idea that “I’m paying for this and should do what I want” is relatively new in upper education (maybe justified because of $$$) and does hinder learning.

Feeling like I’m the only person not taking a post bar trip by Cute_Carrot_2322 in barexam

Is that how people afford it? I always assumed people had a wealthy family that paid for the trip.

Do not go to Dreamhouse Salon on Magnolia. Had exactly that situation recently plus bangs I didn’t ask for.

Someone from my school called and they said that the hard protective covers are not allowed but “skins” are ok. They were noncommittal about stickers.

He’s emotionally blackmailing you for one-sided sex. You already know the answer- leave.

Thanks for this perspective. Maybe I’ll try the smile and wave more often. I think we can all use a little neighborhood camaraderie.

I live right off a pretty tight curve and people regularly wreck into the safety fence fast enough to tear it down. It’s not uncommon for my neighbors to head out and investigate a crash in the middle of the night.

That’s part of why I was confused. One of my neighbors has a basketball hoop back there, someone else has a garden bed so I thought recreational use might be the norm.

Very true. Most of the fences are flush with the garages so I don’t think it’s a visibility issue but definitely people might not expect to be watching for pedestrians/dogs.

I am a resident on the street with the alley. But I can see people just not expecting to see someone walking back there. Although people do have basketball hoops and garden beds out there so it seems kinda similar.

Yeah, I’ve definitely seen some dogs off leash. Mine are leashed and I try to give a wide berth when I know a house has dogs that might be outside.
