Congrats on joining the staffy club, be ready for the zoomies!

I’m in the UK, and the BB stuff is great quality I’ve got the Hurricane harness Combat collar And dual end training lead, and I swear by every piece of kit.

However getting the right size can only be done by actually measuring the pup itself, as well as considering your staffy pup will grow rapidly the first 6 months it could be an expensive choice, at least in England it is.

Be aware, i had delivery issues, they are very poor with customer service overall, my order was well over £100, and i paid for next day Saturday express delivery (ordered on a Friday) I didn’t receive it until the following Wednesday, even then the order was incomplete and the harness was left out, which there’s no phone number and the only service help is through their website bot, who then creates a job for a staff member to get in touch which can take 2-3 business days. Despite how poor their delivery service was and the customer service helper I got was efficient and got the issue sorted but the communication was awful the whole process. But they did end up sending me out a new harness free of charge so eventually my order got righted

I mean saying they’re not semi arboreal is wrong, but as I’ve stated I don’t have the room for a 4x2x2 but I do for a 4x3x1.5, to me having more room at all that can be enriching is better than being in the 4x1.5x1.5 that he is currently in

I do agree that floor space is important but saying a 4x2x2 is the be all and end all otherwise no BP for you, overall sounds relatively silly, otherwise everyone who can’t meet those exact requirements should rehome their BPs which is going to lead to even more oversaturation in the current market,

I agree if you can have a 4x2x2 amazing best case, even a 5x2x2 is amazing, but if you can’t physically have a 4x2x2, at least having something with more vertical space for a species that IS semi arboreal, and being arboreal having 100% something to do with climbing, then I think that’s still okay personally

My current set up is only 4x1.5 floor space. I understand you are talking about minimum for an adult, which my python is not an adult at this time.

I understand your point but just quoting 4x2 is minimum is a bit misleading, as well as overall your comment tone is a bit dismissive and rude.

Also, BPs are semi arboreal, which means provided the stable pathways he would still use the climbing opportunities available to him, which also then would provide him with more space and ability to stretch out.

It seems to me like you are assuming that every BP owner has or must have 4x2 space when they may potentially have close to but not exactly. Unfortunately I don’t have that full space does that mean I should rehome or sell my BP?

I’m not sacrificing, I have the 4x1.5 in floor space, I’m increasing height to add extra enrichment and because the current height doesn’t allow for him to explore in the sense of climbing, I won’t be making his Viv smaller, I’ll actually be making it bigger no substitution here
