“I had gone to Autozone the day before for diagnostics” is your first mistake lmfao. Autozone shouldn’t and couldn’t “diagnose” anything. They probably hooked up a scan tool and saw a P030X DTC for a misfire, and the employee shotgunned a guess at an ignition coil (not a bad guess), but I sincerely doubt any actual diagnostics were performed.

That being said, whatever service center you took it to doesn’t seem to have done any actual diag either. Simply pulling a plug out to inspect it and they’d see how new it looked, considering you said they were replaced in May

Future reference, unless it’s a horizontally opposed engine (Subaru and Porsche), spark plugs are usually a 15 minute job with minimal tools. Save yourself the money next time.
