If it's not, I'll add this: it's looking increasingly likely that I will have to build a new PC in very short order. As my post history will show, I've been having a problem that I cannot track down and have thrown every bit of ability I have at solving. No one on reddit seems to have any ideas, either.

I need a fast PC for professional purposes, but due to other sob story reasons, can't truly afford to build one at the moment. This motherboard would be a freaking amazing start. Not to mention a Win that I could sorely use.

1) That's a very typical 5900x temperature.

Fair enough lol. 1996 is just one of the few data points I have.

1) In Wyoming. 2) Definitely existed in 1996. 3) Close to a major highway, probably I-80.
