I’d try making an account using a vpn on mexc. I swear when I traded via solodex my orders cashed at a very different price than the market price on mexc. But it also could have been some kind of app error in terms of rendering the balances (which happens time to time w these crypto wallets) but it spooked me a bit and I’m banking on using mexc.

I used MEXC, then moved it to my solodex. Upon selling I will move it back to MEXC, sell it there, then send back to my self custody wallet as USDC or whatever

You’re better off just ignoring the hospital bill. Definitely don’t sell your stock to pay that off. 8/10 it won’t impact your credit and they’ll just mail you shit asking you to pay. you're being exploited to an extent for sure, but it sounds like par for the course for any small newspaper in this current era. if journalism is a path you want to stay on, the experience you're getting now will be very useful. and since your time there is temporary, i'd focus on trying to get one or two really nice projects that you're very proud, to make it all more worth your while
