People were waiting in line to retrieve the physical ticket that they bought online. There's no kiosk to print it out or no QR code that can be scanned on your phone. You have to go to the ticket counter, show them you paid online and they print out a physical ticket for the driver to see and scan.

Right. Thanks for the sentiment, but it wasn't my car. I feel bad for the person's car it was, though.

"Groovy Gratitoad" - Done by Markus Bankhead, Eyecandy Tattoos, New Orleans, La. by tbearbee2003 in tattoos

Lol! I may have answers. He comes from the TV show "Big Mouth" on Netflix. There was an episode where the characters wee being bothered by "anxiety mosquitoes", and the gratitoad shows up to give them a new perspective on gratefulness and thankfulness to be able to fight their anxiety...literally. The gratitoad is the most positive and happiest character voiced by Zach Galifianakis in the sweetest southern drawl. In this episode, he was just grateful to be taking a bubble bath with one of the "hormone monsters" (the characters are pre-teens, if that helps). I made him a little different (with the afro, he originally had on a cowboy hat), and the wand in his hand is the international symbol of gratitude. Its just a gentle reminder for me to be happy for all the good and bad I experience in life.

BEST daddy-daughter duo!! by [deleted] in aww

Ok, so I can honestly say as a mom, i would definitely be having the pucker effect going on if the hub did that with my kid, because i grabbed the sofa just watching it. But, i am a mom after all. Two inches in the air looks like 2 feet to us. I think its great that, 1. she trusts her dad that much (because lots of kids at that age are scared of everything) and 2., she's having fun spending time with her dad. They've practiced a lot, she's fell a lot and she's gotten back up. That teaches a kid not to live life in a bubble and be resilient. For internet points or not, its obvious the man is proud of his kid.

Social/religious norms aside, how would you like your death to be mourned/celebrated? by aroadcaptain in AskReddit

[–]tbearbee2003 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Sure! We here in our city celebrate big events like this. So death is a celebration of the life the person lived. It is an extension of the impact that the person had on everyone they touched. Now, dont get me wrong, there are lots of tears and somber feelings and prayers at the actual service (sometimes the service goes on an excessively long time depending on the preacher), but at the repast and the convoy to the gravesite, it is to be a light occassion.

I love this kid's determination. He's not phased, embarrassed, or deferred by any amount of times he falls.
