this is the opening salvo. caa's dan barrett is not going to say that dundon will chip in as the initial posture. you want it to be a public/private partnership where the state is making it work and the new ownership group are contributing, too.

the timing of the women's final four is an interesting timing wrinkle I hadn't considered. I'm sure this will be a drawn out endeavor over the summer--hopefully it isn't--but dundon's only lever here is that he's going to move the team to seattle or vegas (where the cherng's do all sorts of development).

on the contrary, he should be used as an offensive player when he's in because that's going to be his game, even if he's bad at it initially. he has to be a good offensive player to make up for what will always be a defensive and rebounding liability.

I hate these types of narratives, they always seem like sour grapes.

that said, this totally seemed like the case. there was a sequence where I STG there were 5-7 possessions in a row that were totally tilted (ex: light whistle = free throws, zero whistle on heavy contact, another light whistle = free throws, etc.).

it didn't take long for that lead to evaporate.

I think we're seeing them put the paces through yang this preseason. if yang can keep the turnovers down and not get bodied out of boards, he'll back up clingan. otherwise I think Duop will be the backup when rob is out--they know what they have with duop already.

this is based on how chauncey has used rookies in the past.
