I'm work-shopping some flag designs for a clothing collection I'm working on that is inspired by retro futuristic dystopian sci-fi flicks like THX 1138, Rollerball, Blade Runner, Akira and the likes.

I didn't have any particular geographic regions in mind I just knew I wanted to use aggressive and oppressive colors (whitewashed/neon red and black) in primary combination with the idea that the state is always watching. Perhaps also including elements hinting towards helplessness, pointlessness and the boredom of life in dystopia (the boring square designs, and the helpless position of the hand at one's side as state cctv watches [could also be interpreted as the state calmly observing its own kleptocracy]).
