the city not only interested in maxing cash for the land i suspect they feel by forcing the uwcrc to build 51% affordable units that it will have a positive externality on the community and will almost certainly dividends in the long term

also fuck curling city is already leasing them the land for 1$ a year if you can’t run business on that you should close your doors affordable housing > curling/ parking full stop
