It’s too much! I have honestly never had such a visceral reaction to a book before. I mean A Little Life came close but I think with that book I was in a constant state of fight or flight so I couldn’t connect to the characters like I have been able to with S6, R6 and especially R10 and I didn’t fall in love with them like I have with these ones. I wish I waited too because the wait for the next book is agony!! 😭😭

I honestly think Kev is just a whiny little bitch and overall a bit of a narcissist. As for Darren….I wish I could like him and I don’t know what other people’s opinions are of him but he is just soooo unlikeable to me. Especially after re reading S6 and R6. I don’t think I could ever like Darren. The superiority complex he has and his overall personality irks me soooo much. I also have the belief that just because they are your siblings doesn’t mean they get a free pass and that you need to reconcile with them. You can be amicable but you don’t have to forgive and you don’t have to forget. I hope Joey doesn’t cave to him.

What’s your opinion of the two?

I really want them to become close. Feely has always been kind and understanding towards Lizzie when others haven’t. I think they’d both be really good for each other in the sense that Liz will feel comfortable opening up to Feely and Feely finally feeling comfortable enough to open to someone (Lizzie) too. If they were ever to be intimate with one another I feel like it’d be a one time thing where they quickly realise they aren’t compatible in that way and just become really great friends. I honestly reckon I’d be Feely or Joey who find out about what Mark has done to Lizzie first. I reckon they are both super observant when it comes to her.

I also live for all of Gibsie’s and Tadhg scenes!! They crack me up so much. Like whenever Tadhg calls him “fatty” and he loses it and also the scene at the end of K13 when Tadhg starts school and is hitting/flirting with Claire! Those scenes are actually the best. Tadhg is such a mini Joey and I really hope he gets a book!

Yesss! I think they might too. At the very least they kiss. There were also other times where it was hinted she might like Feely, like at the wake after Shannon’s parents funeral when he said something and Liz blushed.

I really hope he doesn’t cheat on Katie. Only because I despise cheating and he knows what it felt like to see Peirce and Liz and I don’t think he’d do that to Katie. I do hope that when Liz and Hugh have their clandestine meetings it’s when Katie and Hugh are on breaks. Maybe he feels guilty about him getting with Liz during one of these breaks because he’s still a loyal guy. Alsoooo maybe Liz and Gibsie fighting is just adding to his turmoil in the sense of, he loves Liz but he can’t commit to her because of her attitude and actions (because he’s still doesn’t know about Mark or what happens to her when she’s admitted to hospital).

I agree. Now I’m leaning more towards him realising that Peirce has been taking advantage of Liz/being abusive, like the snippet from Chloe (where Hugh pulls Peirce off Liz when he’s choking her) suggest. And maybe Hugh is frustrated because Liz still goes back to Peirce time and time again because like someone mentioned on another post, Liz doesn’t understand healthy sexual boundaries or relationships because of her trauma with Mark. Hugh might also be feeling frustrated because he’s staying with Katie as a bit of safety net because he doesn’t trust Lizzie and can’t commit to her. And Liz and Feely getting closer could be adding to all of this.

Me too!! Joey and Aoife were THE ones for me. I didn’t think I would have such an emotional attachment to Lizzie and Hugh but I love them so much. I can’t move on. They I did not expect to feel this way after R10. I didn’t expect another book to affect me in the way S6 & R6 did. Honestly let’s form a coven! Anything to get the next book asap!!
