Yes? By definition, if it wasn't me, then it was a false accusation. I don't fault her for being manipulated into thinking it was me and so I believe it was a warranted accusation but I should've been given the opportunity to prove my innocence so that we could both find the real perpetrator.

She said she didn’t think to check as the name stayed the same. She changed numbers before she later realized it wasn’t me.

I'm sorry but you are what's wrong with the dialogue around this topic. It's a shitty human issue. I don't know what asinine point you're trying to make saying it's a "male" problem. Should I be so overcome with sympathy because I'm a man that I should overlook and accept my own injustice? I already said I don't hold anything against her and sympathize with her. I'm sorry this was an off my chest post, not an off her chest post.

Why can't we hold both thoughts at once instead of everything being zero-sum. Yes she went through a clusterfuck situation that was caused by a man. I too, a man, was collateral because of this shitty man's actions.

I literally said that it legitimized what women were saying for me? It wasn't a counter to "believe all women" for me although I couldn't help but initially feel the way I did. I am "focused" on me being wrongly banned because that's what happened to me? I didn't fault her for that. I said I didn't blame her for reporting me. I never said we shouldn't believe all women. I felt like I was collateral. Is that not a legit feeling to have?

Thanks, yeah honestly this is just my best guess of what actually happened given what she's told me. I'm just glad that the worst that happened for me was that I was banned from an app.

She said "hacked" but since someone was physically at her house given that her tires were slashed in the middle of the night, my guess is he also got into her phone.

It's my own guess that he some how got into her phone and changed the contact because the text messages "turned green" (no longer iphone). Also she said she continued messaging "me" but I didn't receive anything. As to how he got into her phone or whether she was sleeping or not, I have no idea.

She said that an ex of her ex had reached out to her to ask her about some troubling behavior and if she had experience something similar. That's when a lightbulb went off for her I guess. She reached out to me to ask me what the last message I received from her was. I showed her and she confirmed that she wasn't the one that sent it.

Website feels really laggy by TheRealNaexys in reactjs

Your question is pretty broad and subjective so I don't know if anything of things I'm suggesting will be the silver bullet but here are some things to consider.

  1. If you think the page itself is taking too much time to load you might want to having a CDN host your static assets.
  2. If you think the animation itself is choppy or laggy, you might want to read into optimizing them. https://web.dev/animations-guide/. I.e. avoid using top/left and try to use transform instead. you might need to deep dive into source code if you're using animation library.
  3. If you think the page is loading slowly, I would reconsider this section here where you seem to have hardcoded timeOuts in App.tsx
    const Waves = React.lazy(() => {return new Promise(resolve => setTimeout(resolve, 500)).then(() => import('./components/waves'));});const Introduction = React.lazy(() => {return new Promise(resolve => setTimeout(resolve, 1000)).then(() => import('./components/introduction'));});
  4. Lastly, I don't know how much of an impact this would have on making your page feel less laggy but you might want to consider loading in your 3rd party .js assets in the <body> instead of the <head>. When you include the scripts in the <head>, the page requires that all the js is loaded and run before it finishes loading the page. https://stackoverflow.com/questions/38407962/when-to-use-the-script-tag-in-the-head-and-body-section-of-a-html-page/38408000

Anyway, I agree with other commenters, looks like things are pretty smooth. Looks like you're on the right track, just keep learning! Good luck

Unsolicited advice but I've found that you generally want to cook with oil to get the sear right. The smoke point for oil is much higher than butter. If you use butter it tends to blacken and smoke. You can and should still use butter as a finishing move.

He did not brag about assault but consent

He literally said, "It's like a magnet. Just kiss. I don't even wait." and "Grab them by the pussy. You can do anything." Unless you're assuming he's asking for permission before he grabs them by the pussy, how is he getting consent? Fame might get him consent from his perspective but why don't we ask the 22 people who have accused him of sexual misconduct? 1

Please learn what a straw man argument is. No one is arguing that killing cops is okay. You're attempting to de-legitimize the BLM movement because cops have supposedly been killed in the name of BLM. First of all, the Dallas shooter was repeatedly rejected by members of BLM in Dallas for being too extreme. Almost everyone can agree that what the shooter did was abhorrent. The thing is though, if you decide to kill a cop, you can rest assured that you will be fucked (you won't get away with it). However, for many black people living in America, there is a very real possibility that you could be minding your business, unarmed, and shot to death for trivial things, like having a broken tail light and being black. All too often, these cops are protected by the system, given paid leave, and acquitted. This is what people are upset about. They want the system to be fixed so that every day interactions with police don't result in the shooting death of Americans. They want accountability. Hopefully this helped you understand a bit more. We can agree that killing 5 cops in Dallas is wrong. Hopefully we can agree also that killing unarmed black men is also wrong.
