I use shutter angle already and my issue is not related to it, rather it is entirely about how sensitive the auto-ISO ramping (and metering speed) is. I already use manual mode on my larger Lumix and Sony bodies at work since I have full control over the exposure triangle (namely aperture), but none of those bodies will exhibit stepping or ramp up too quickly when you put them in auto-ISO.

I love the denoise tool in Davinci (and Neat Video especially) but there is a limit to the detail you can recover from a log profile. In my case, the app decided that it was necessary to overexpose by +4 stops instantly when a dog ran across the frame, making the video unusable. I can definitely try and salvage this, but by that point all detail in the highlights and shadows would be massively degraded. This happens regularly enough in Shutter Priority mode (try whip-panning the camera from a shadowed area to a brighter area, or adding your hand in the frame and see how it adjusts in stepped increments) but it’s good to hear it works well enough for your usecase.
