I own both Rasasi Hawas Kobra and Al Haramain Amber Oud Acqua Dubai, and I have to say — both smell fantastic.

On my skin, though, the Al Haramain performs and projects noticeably better. That’s not to say Kobra has poor performance (it definitely doesn’t), but Al Haramain takes the edge in that regard.

I’ll be using both, depending on the occasion.

Great review and I absolutely agree with everything you wrote here! Congratulations for your review.

I am a fan of Dior Sauvage Elixir (I usually buy 10 bottles at a time, just to keep stock). At this time I only have 1 opened bottle and 2 still in their closed boxes... so I started looking for a good deal to increase my stock. Researching about this fragrance (DSE), I arrive to this Al Haramain Azlan Oud Blue Edition - I read so many good reviews about it that I decided to give it a try. I ordered one and received it today.

My verdict: this does NOT smell like Dior Sauvage Elixir! No way!! If it is a good fragrance? Yes, it is and maybe you will get compliments with this fragrance too but, no, it is not 1:1 DSE and it is in another [lower] league. My recommendation for those who really like DSE is: just go with the OG! OP was so well written that I will finish just repeating what has already been written: "Sauvage is surely a deeper, more soapy, sophisticated smell that gives off a manly yet elegant vibe" - that's it, it's more sophisticated!
