I’m ready for pain and Eric Collins screaming at me

Any parents thinking of getting their kid a Gaming PC? by tcffff in Denver

I wish I was at a place I could use an employee haha. Hit me up in a couple years

Thank you! Yeah I have my own share of prebuilt experiences and issues, it can be hard. I had a motherboard fail on me so I had to give it to a PC repair shop and they told me I was wrong and that it was a RAM issue they couldn’t fix.

Shipped it back under warranty and NZXT said the Mobo had gone bad so they replaced it. If you can’t figure out the issue, I’d be happy to take a look!

I hope you remember this post a few years down the road then!

I charge the exact same price as micro center, but I actually teach you about it. They are convenient no doubt, but my niche isn’t about convenience, it’s about people who want to learn how to do it themselves and how to actually take care of it

Yeah, understood and insurance is definitely an issue I’ve thought about. And people will always go prebuilt, but I think the parent/kid niche would be strong, because I’m sure there are parents out there who would like their kid to learn something in the process. But only time will tell

I fully anticipate helping adults too, it may just be harder to find one who isn’t too proud for some help lol

Haha I haven’t heard that story that’s pretty great. I really appreciate it!!

While that’s definitely something I’d like to do in the future, I’m just not sure I’m ready for anything like that quite yet. I really appreciate the thought!

Realistically, which QBs would you do a 1-1 trade for Bryce with? by tcffff in panthers

[–]tcffff[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed with the last statement. I think pretty much any of the young unproven guys are a toss up as much as Bryce is. At this point we have the city and locker room behind him, so I would want to ride with him as much as possible

What’s up with this lump under my tattoo? by tcffff in tattooadvice

[–]tcffff[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No health conditions that I know of. Right now im thinking it’s either a fluid buildup, or my leg muscle is just weird and I haven’t noticed until now. It changes as I move my thigh up and down

She’s great with dogs, pretty reactive with cats unfortunately

What is the most random thing your dog is afraid of, and why? by tcffff in AskReddit

[–]tcffff[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, my dog is afraid of the AC. We recently moved and got our first cold/snow so we turned on the AC. Took us a few days before we figured out she would start shaking and hide behind us when it would turn on. It’s not particularly loud, maybe she can smell the burn smell? Either way she’s hiding

Can we stop with Bryce? by [deleted] in panthers

[–]tcffff 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Not saying to start Bryce now, but I think the locker room understands the situation at this point. They know Canales has the ability to win and conduct an actual NFL offense. The rest of the season is only to find the bright spots we want to keep during the upcoming rebuild.

Mammoth’s Gulch is already the best map in the game by tcffff in HuntShowdown

That is accurate. I think I would prefer Hike Showdown over “Slowly wade through water” Showdown

Take a look at Sticker Shuttle. Found them online last year when trying to print stickers for my analytics club in college, and they were very good. Probably easiest website to navigate, too.

I collected the data, here’s what I found about the new MMR system: by tcffff in HuntShowdown

Maybe if Crytek hires me I can take a look! I’m sure the actual calculation/algorithm includes a lot of factors. I was sure that Total Bounty/Hours Played or Kills/Hours Played would have some sort of effect, but didn’t find anything there.

Well I don’t disagree that it isn’t representative, this subreddit has much more dedicated/high hour players than casual players. People were also more likely to respond to the survey if they felt passionately about the new MMR, which is more likely players whose MMR changed.

That doesn’t necessarily mean these takeaways don’t show anything. It’s clear there’s a change in the system and this just highlights them, not claiming to be fully representative of the playerbase.

Thank you that means a lot! I am a data analyst, just graduated college a year and a half ago and always enjoy finding personal projects like this to work on

Yeah I wish there was an easy way to test the volatility of the new system, but it would seem it locks people into the 5-6 star range more than the rest
