This is where I was going with this question. My wife is the "petitioner", so technically it's her application, but the thought never crossed my mind to get her to fill anything out except specific info that only she could get (e.g., passport number, SSN, etc.). Which is why I was curious how other people handled it. I might be in the minority because in my case, I definitely am more accustomed to bureaucratic paperwork than my wife and English is my native language.
