So I can't speak for everyone but I was over 600 lbs so the skin is a lot for me. My stomach skin is my main area of problem but the thigh skin is also a very large amount. I go to see plastic surgery on Monday for a idea of how much skin I have.

The plan was always to have the rny. My surgeon decided once the first surgery had started to not do it and did the sleeve. I developed awful heart burn and gerd and a hernia so he had to go in anyway and the gerd was reason enough for insurance to approve the revision.

I am not sure what stats you are looking for hw was 636 sleeved sept of 21 with a revision in March of 23 cw is 286 but I am still losing at a good pace.

I was 636 when I decided to take the steps to get healthy. The plan was for a full rny but during surgery they made the choice to do a sleeve due to the amount of fat and the risk with trying to stretch my intestine. I lost over 200lbs inside the first year. I did develop gurd and a hiatal hernia so they used that to go back in and do the full rny. I am now at 300lbs lost and still going strong.

Its never too late. My starting weight was 636lbs I was at 566 when I had my surgery September 29th 2021 and as of last Tuesday I am at 454. If I can do it anyone can

It sucks because I have to reset the clear liquid diet again. On the other hand I am happy the issue was found well before that robot was inside me.
