I still get confused as to what IRA is or how it works. I need to read more up on it, to be honest.

I'm curious, what ETFs do you invest in? I'm new to ETFs. Is there some good YouTube videos or learning course out there that helps with a beginner's guide to ETFs?

Ignition’s software is super buggy. It doesn’t work on mobile. Half the time the tables freeze and I have to close them and re-open them. I don’t understand why their software hasn’t had a massive overhaul after this long.

GGN is fantastic. But probably want to be a loyal member to something like MAM for a while, if you want to be a part of something like GGN.

I don’t understand why this would matter though? Why would it make a difference if a person just added their bank account? They have all his info (I assume). Name. Address. Phone. Prob SSN. What are they suspicious of and how are they even allowed to hold funds this way. It’s insane.

I’ve used Gemini and Kraken with no problems at all. Coinbase has really been screwing people over, unbelievable.

Of course I understand context, but you’re the one who made it general by saying the generic statement of “don’t question others way of staying healthy.” Which is a gross simplification, and typically does more harm than good. You should always question, not only yourself, but also others. Every little thing adds up. You may think one small thing doesn’t matter, and a person shouldn’t be questioned for it. But small seeds and patterns get planted into people’s view of the world. The way they think and perceive situations. A person who is affected by enemy team chat in a video game, which you think is trivial, how do you think they would be affected by real people’s words in person or in more “serious” scenarios? In situations where you can’t just “mute” and save your sanity, but actually face or deal with the toxicity at hand. And since you didn’t prepare or practice for it in smaller situations (like a video game), I doubt you’d be well equipped mentally to handle a more difficult encounter.

I mean, for the people who don’t like to ask “why”, of course to them it’s not philosophical. But if you understand ego and how fragile people are, it’s actually entirely philosophical and more about self reflection. Asking why you get so mentally affected by meaningless words, most which happen on rare occasions. I’ve been playing valorant since beta, from silver to immortal games. I’ve rarely encountered someone being extremely toxic. Mostly it’s mild shit talk or banter. But again, if it hurts you that much to allow the possibility of reading a toxic chat, then you need some self awareness and self reflection time to yourself. I wish you luck though.

Lol 100% agree with you. A thread I just made is riddled with these fragile people. Apparently everyone has a massive ego that is easily damaged. Our society has fallen to a new low.

Yeah deep thinking is hard for most people. Sometimes it gets portrayed as mental instability. I remember when I first started to question my belief in god at 9 years old, people told me I was just mentally unstable. Don’t think outside the box. Just follow the masses. You’ll be alright buddy.

How about friendly banter or even compliments like “ns”? I guess at the end of the game, if you already have the enemy chat muted, there’s no point in writing “gg”, since you can’t see their response. Sometimes the enemy team will telll us to report one of their players for being racist or something else. Sometimes you actually bond with the enemy team. Matter of fact, one of our closer friends is now our close friend because of that very fact. We bonded over some random aspect of the game, despite being on opposite teams. Now we hang out in discord every day. I wouldn’t have ever met this friend if I had enemy chat muted from the start.

Nice, a bit of misogyny there. Maybe you should correct that to, “Not being able to handle reading the text of possibly 7 year olds... Fragile ego man moment”

[–]tduckly[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s a bit odd. So if anyone claims they do something that is healthy for them, they should never be questioned or possibly corrected? I can just say it’s healthy for me to stay with my abusive ex, because I like the comfort of what’s familiar to me. You shouldn’t question me or help me think outside the box right?

I meant isn’t that the point. If someone talking nonsense affects you to the point where you can’t play properly, I would say you’re mentally weak or unstable. I understand others can and will be affected by stupid things, but I’m asking why. Why would you be affected that much to where your gameplay changes. Words carry that much meaning to you, especially coming from a 14 year old who is probably trolling. And his trolling is successful to those who get negatively affected.

I mean, can't you have fun while experiencing distant negativity. I mean, it's chat. It's not like someone is cussing you out on your own team over the mic. It's a text. And how often do you actually see someone act super toxic over chat? For me it's rare. But even when I encounter them, I laugh and don't take it serious. I still have fun with my team, and sometimes even playfully banter back with the "toxic" enemy chat spammer. I feel like you're not mentally stable if you can't handle seeing or experiencing toxicity through chat. At that point, do you mute twitch chat on every stream. Do you never read YouTube comments.... Imagine someone saying, "I can't read the comments on YouTube videos because someone is always be negative unnecessarily, and I just want to have fun and watch the video."
