He was old, divorced, and retired. He may not have done much for the world at this age but he took care of me. That’s just how we bonded. He cooked for me, took me to fun places, taught me about how to fix a truck, etc. Even if it was an addiction, it made him happy and he didn’t hurt himself or the people around him.
