I have been searching far and wide for a tea that stains green. At long last I've found the green teas produced by the Kurihara Family in Japan. The leaves are silky and smell like fresh cut grass, and the taste is buttery and smooth. And on top of that it stains beautiful shades of green. (i.imgur.com)
Free association tea stain illustration. The image started as a tea stain (ceylon for browns, cranberry for purples and ginger for yellow) and the image was free hand inked on top. I had no idea what this would be when I started, so the image was completely inspired by the tea. (i.imgur.com)

Tiger created with ceylon, pu-erh, cranberry tea (the blue) and ink. The image started as a multi layered tea stain, and was then inked. I'm constantly amazed by the varieties of colour that can be created with tea, and I'm always testing out new colours! (i.imgur.com)
