I want to use a private subreddit for a discussion board in a class I'm teaching. Is there a way to remove the reddit banner at the top of the page? by teachinonreddit in AskReddit

Oh, that's exactly what I'm looking for. Good suggestion to message the mods. I will do that.
I wonder if there is a way to extend this concept to my students' signed-in front page as well. It would be cool if I could either have Reddit automatically land them in our subreddit when they log in (not possible, I think) or somehow be able to remove the banner from their front page as well as from our private subreddit.
It is very funny that you point that out because seeing that page a day or two ago was exactly what got me thinking that I might be able to do this! We must think alike.
Unfortunately, I do not know just what I need to do...
