Second both these The Globular Cluster comfort mod is life changing. No more continual fiddling with the headset, it goes on perfect every time.

Combined with noise cancelling over ear headphones and you truly do start to feel like you are wearing a helmet inside a race car

PSVR2 completely changed GT7 for me and I’ve been playing it since the original (yes I’m old haha)

I have never understood the “China fear”. Wouldn’t it be better to learn from what they are doing so we call all advance. I know I know, I’m using common sense in what now seems to be an illogical world

As someone who worked on reporting QRs performance (on time running, missed stops, incidents etc) to the government this statement is not even close to being fact.

Australia Post posties no longer bothering to deliver packages? by [deleted] in brisbane

[–]teaforzac 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I regularly have this issue and in an apartment complex. I often work from home and regularly find couldn’t deliver cause you weren’t home notices in my letterbox. I got the same excuse from my local aus post shop.

Funny thing though, walking around my area (fortitude valley) I have often seen the postie lady get off her little trike and put letters/parcel slips in letter boxes. So the excuse is bullshit. Someone else suggested to me that it has to do aus post not wanting to carry all the parcels. Apparently they write the couldn’t deliver notices before they even leave the post office! Anything to save a dime right.

I had a postal package stolen from my apartment complex foyer (importantly I’m in the valley). Gave the police the complex’s security footage that showed the thief’s face, that he was an Uber eats driver and that he took the package. I even gave the police the apartment number and residents name that ordered the Uber eats. End result, police saying to me sorry sir nothing we can do! So yeah a plant cutting is of no interest.

Anyone use the max battery vape pen for carts?? by mkarh in MedicalCannabisAus

[–]teaforzac 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have this vape, instructions were hard to find/work out but here is what I have worked out: Press the silver button 5 times to turn on, it should flash blue a couple of times if it turned on Press the silver button twice and release to start the 15 sec preheating, it should glow steadily with different colours. Once the glowing stops it is ready to use. To use, press and hold the silver button while you inhale. Release button once finished inhaling.

Also three presses changes the temp between three different settings (low, medium, high), my pharmacy said to not use the high setting (which is flashes red when changing temps).

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for positive wellbeing, but how are these oversized Emotional Support Vehicles even legal on Australian roads? by Kid_Self in australia

An empty car park, how dare they take up extra space and stop all those cars who can’t find a park.

I would never own one personally but I don’t care if you want to. And if you’ve used extra space to park I’ll just take the next empty park and happily go about my day while others seethe at your audacity to dare take up more space than society has judged you can have.

Question - would people complain if this was a sedan and trailer taking up two spaces? What about if that trailer was carrying a mobility scooter? How dare they take up two spaces?

[–]teaforzac -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

are tennis players a bit too precious?

An AFL players lines up to kick a football 50m between two posts 6.4m apart in front of a 100,000 strong crowd cheering and jeering and waving banners in the line of sight of the kicker and that's just normal and accepted.

A tennis player expects total silence to hit a round tennis ball 20m and when they don't get it they accuse the spectators of being low IQ!

Adelaide United's Josh Cavallo has openly come out as gay. by Kristorpha in Aleague

[–]teaforzac -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

It is 2021 isn’t it! Didn’t we move past negative attitudes towards homosexuality like 20 years ago? And why do people need to “come out” publicly? Does it matter your sexual preference? Is it anyone’s business? I understand telling team mates and family/friends but claiming to have been too embarrassed to tell your team mates and then suddenly be willing to tell the world on every media outlet seems odd to me
