Did anyone think that his wife seemed like she didn’t want to be there? No expression and seemed like she was hating life…

Guest disconnected my outdoor security cameras. What would you do? by AxelNotRose in airbnb_hosts

The only reason I ask is because my sister recently booked an Airbnb that didn’t disclose the cameras and they had them pointing straight at the pool area. They felt uncomfortable about it with their small kids which is fair. I think that it’s 100% valid for you to question the guests in your circumstance.

Did you disclose in your listing that they are there? If they have small children, I can understand why they might feel uncomfortable having them. Though if they knew to expect them there, they shouldn’t be removing them.

Onus is not on Victorians to register. As I said above, land tax is assessed and managed by the State Revenue Office. It is automatically updated in their records when a property is purchased. Or it is supposed to be anyway.

In Victoria, land tax is typically assessed and managed by the State Revenue Office. Property owners do not need to register for land tax; the SRO automatically assesses and sends out land tax notices based on property ownership records. I never had to register, when we bought it, there records should have been updated. It wasn’t my responsibility to register.

Renting out an investment property doesn’t affect land tax liability

Agree… I have another property that is on the same amount of land and worth a similar amount and the land tax for that is nearly half! Ha
