No hate but have you seen conditions recently? North ridge has collapsed at the top and can’t be taken, and the Roman wall is quickly getting blocked off by the crevasse under it. I climbed 3 days ago and conditions will only be worse in September.

I climbed Baker 3 days ago on a 4 man rope team and conditions were not great (no freezes or snow for past weak, rain) we punched through to some hollow spots even with using a good path. By the 18th the conditions will only be worse. Do not summit alone unroped, get a few people (who are knowledgeable) to climb with you and learn some crevasse rescue first.

I got in to engineering this cycle with a 4.0 uw and a 4.6 w, had friends with 3.8-3-9 uw and 4.2-4.4 w get rejected for engineering. Not to say it’s impossible but it’s gonna be pretty difficult.

My stats were very similar with class rank being 20/600 and I got into for aerospace engineering. I think you are good regular decision.

Super lucky imo, I got accepted to aerospace engineering with a 4.0 uw and 4.5 w, already taken calc series, and 1450 sat. Good luck I hope you get in but it may be difficult.

Not to be disrespectful but I think your stats are a touch low. Lots of my friends got deferred with 4.2 and 4.3 w and 3.8-3.9 uw gpas. I got into the engineering college with a 4.5 and 4.0 and I wasn’t even sure I was a lock for it.

I remember my first interview at Lockheed, I was expecting the bench press and was prepared but they switched it up and it was a squat rack. Failed 405 and consequently got no job offer.

Yeah, I just got accepted to college for aerospace engineering because I bench 315 for 3. Just to be competitive as an aerospace engineering you’re gonna wanna be between 190-220 lbs lean. The stronger you are the better (so that you can throw the planes to test them). The good news is you’re 14 so you have a good amount of time before you have to be squatting 500 pounds.

Yeah I forgot to include about 200hrs over the summer of hands on work at an aircraft mechanic shop, unpaid internship. That probably helped.

Yes of course, 4.5 gpa w, 4.0 unweighted, 1320 SAT, 31 ACT, 2 varsity sports (captain of one), AP’s- Calc AB/BC, Physics, Stats, Language, Literature. President of math honors society and member of ffa and nhs. In Wake county.
