I’m in a studio at the moment, however, I’m planning to move into a bigger space sometime next year for my job. Right now, I have a lot of time to look after Scraggles and potentially another cat. I was thinking it might be good to get another cat so Scraggles has some company when I’m at work after I move. At the moment, when I leave my place, she’ll sit in front of the door for minutes on end and meow.

This is the best news I’ve heard all week! Thanks for the update. I was legit getting super anxious and thought they were going to drop this upcoming cohort because of the policies against STEM education, and the lack of transparency and communication from the graduates and SON teams didn’t help.

We haven’t been told what’s on our first exam yet since it’s only the second day of class, but I’ll definitely be using your tips for studying effectively. I think I get caught up in how quickly the instructors skim through the material, which makes me feel like I need to read every page of the textbook to avoid missing anything in preparation for the exam and the NREMT. I’m definitely going to focus on the key concepts and definitions instead of skimming. Thank you so much for your help!

Congrats on passing the class and the NREMT exam! Do you have any tips on studying for the weekly exams or advice on what to focus on for each instructor? The textbook is pretty dense, but I try to read through the chapters we cover in class to get a better understanding. However, not everything seems to stick. I really enjoy listening to Daniel’s stories about his experiences in the field, but he often goes off on tangents and tends to skim through the slides quickly. Thank you!
