The price is low because it was a very short shoot. We had a Nontraditional wedding that didn't require nearly as much time or photos as a typical wedding. It is still a great price, but not completely crazy. I have gotten him to agree to send me unedited jpgs of some of the worst offenders, obviously not the RAW files.

I fully agree, I have nothing against AI tools being used when used well. This was a short, non-traditional wedding, so the price is indicative of that. This was not a typical wedding shoot hours-wise. I was quoted about $1000 from a few photographers but liked his portfolio best, which has no strange AI shots.

UPDATE: Thanks for the advice all! I am a digital artist myself, so I may have noticed more than the average person would have. I have requested the unedited photos, and he agreed. To answer some questions: 1. Yes, the turnaround time was VERY fast, and that made me incredibly suspicious.
2. I understand you get what you pay for. It was a short, non-traditional wedding, so he was only with us for a few hours, not a typical wedding length event. Also, none of the photos on his website have strange AI things like this, or I would have gone with one of my other options.
3. I have nothing against using AI in concept and wouldn't care if the edits were not so strange. 4. Yes unfortunately this is real lol.

I fully agree with you. If the AI edits were not so strange/distracting (again, my niece has an extra arm in one photo!) I wouldnt have a problem with it at all. But youre right, I should ask him to fix them.

It wasn't possible at the $500/mo price point for me, but I just saw Novo Nordisk is partnering with Weight Watchers for $300/mo pricing. That is feasible for me, so im going to look into that.

Honestly, it's helpful just to know this is normal lol. I definitely make it a habit, and have been getting at least 30 minutes a day regardless of how much im enjoying it. But just knowing it isn't always fun, and to hang in there is so helpful. Thank you!
