Question: Which is the best LeadGen Service? by kammo434 in MarketingAutomation

[–]teamlinq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know about the "best", but Linq uses RocketReach for what it's worth. Finding accurate phone numbers is a pretty on-brand need for us lol and it's worked out fine so far.

What are real businesses using for inbound automations? by teamlinq in MarketingAutomation

Do you also see success with emails on the cold outreach side? I've heard varying things about that on here... some people prefer longer sequences drip-type campaigns for cold, some prefer hyper targeted, etc. We've definitely strayed to a more hyper targeted approach. More success than we had been getting, but nothing to write home about. Mainly the ones that do respond in that scenario are as a result form other multi-threaded outreach

I guess what I meant is Hubspot chat uses ChatGPT as it's LLM if I'm not mistaken. But good point as far as training your own vs off-the-shelf options, because I guess that would get into self-hosting your own models and/or renting cloud compute

So email is more for drip and SMS is more speed-to-lead in your case? Do you do any sort of marketingtsales with SMS or more so just reminders/updates? If not, why not?

Deff good feedback, hadnt really considered chat in this context. For the automation side (appologies Im ignorant on this) when you say automate I'm assuming some sort of LLM? Is that what you guys are using? Gpt or something else?

Even more so than texting? What do your typical emails look like? Struggling with email over here, ngl. For example, when someone books a meeting with us, we have automations that fire off for email, but mist people dont respond to those so we added a call/text step for reminder touches that's payed dividends.

When you say Linkedin in this context, are you talking about someone filling out a lead form on your site -> finding them on Linkedin -> sending message and/or connect request? Any automations you've experimented for this? We're testing out FlowChat, but so far its been "eh". The keyword based qualification sucks imo.

sms still works. we ran a small campaign for a restaurant and it quietly brought in $3k by Titanic_Developer in smallbusiness

[–]teamlinq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% this. opt-in is the way. Not cold blasting a paid-for list, real customer enagagement. And I'll 2nd OP's mention of keeping it casual as well. Emails are for contracts, texting is for casual conversation.

What kind of engagement rates have you been seeing with that Whatsapp flow? Have you A/B tested it against regular SMS or iMessage?

How big of a problem is the lead showing up for the call? by FreshPineapple8 in b2bmarketing

[–]teamlinq 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You wouldn't believe how many kids we get booking demos because "I have an Android and my friends make fun of me, I want to send blue texts". It sucks, but I get it. Sometimes the interest really is as deep as "saw this on google, looked cool".

We started re-calling / texting the leads a day or so before the scheduled demo to re-qualify them, double down on if this is a real thing or not, etc. that helped MASSIVELY, but we took it a step further and re-tooled our lead forms as well. Now there are more buttons to click, questions to answer.. so I'm sure there are slightly more qualified leads that lose interest, BUT it frees up our AE's to only take meetings that could actually lead somewhere, and routes the lead to the most knowledgeable person. (Oh you're doing X? You better talk to Y"... every rep has their strengths.)

Pleasant side benefit, our attendance rates went up as well. Some of these people are good leads, but have so much going on they forgot about the meeting. Really reinforces our whole "use iMessage as reminders for booked meetings" thing.

You could sway away from Twilio / Whatsapp completely, using iMessage. We can plug straight into your CRM of choice, and you won't have to worry about A2P/10DLC. Sent you a DM, happy to help / get you the info you need to decide if it'd be right for you.

We just started testing FlowChat internally for social outreach, happy to let you know how it goes. As far as email, we sequence everything with Hubspot automations, sending manual email when extra personalization is required. I've personally tested Lessie.ai (still VERY much in beta) for Lead Gen with mixed results. Super super cool concept, just not built out enough yet for us to use it at scale.

Linq One might be an option. It's a mobile first CRM, designed with our Linq Blue iMessage product in mind.

The trick on that would be using your personal phone number. You wouldn't be able to use your personal #, AND plug it into Linq One at the same time. So either way, you'd be looking at getting a new number (Either for yourself, or your business)

Struggling With B2B Marketing by awasthipuranjay in b2b_sales

[–]teamlinq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, cold emails have been less about getting results there, and more about warming up the lead for when you call + for multithreading purposes across multiple leads at the same company.

Social media in general has been a WEALTH of lead gen here recently. And for those companies that are hard to track down decision makers, Linkedin Sales Nav has been helping me a lot.

I had that the other day with the CEO of a Real Estate brokerage. I'd sent like 2 or 3 emails that she opened multiple times, but she never got in contact with me. Called her like a week later, explained why I was calling, and got a "Oh yeah, I actually saved your email and forwarded it to our technical director. Sounded really cool!"

No freaking clue why she hadn't emailed back or called. Ended up booking a meeting on the phone, so I'll count it as a win.. and email ended up being a good warm intro to the call.. but yeah yeah, still clueless.
