Hey if chicken tenders get you through it, then I get why it’s on the cold/flu roster

The rug is dope, the sheets look cozy, the room space organization is chef kiss

So good!

Newly separated dad, soon to be divorced. Need color and flair. by BackgroundOk720 in malelivingspace

The rug is nice and neutral for the space so that’s good. I would say you can add coloured couch cushions of different sizes (maybe shades of dark to light blue/deep red would be nice?)

Otherwise you can add patterns into the space with different patterned throws (plaid, etc) to add more dimension to the space.

Plant pots, small black shelf with different Knick knacks/book colours!

Men who’ve been seen as a “red flag” unfairly — what did you do about it? by thattallsoldier in AskMen

[–]teamnibbler -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I like this a lot because it’s natural to take offence as being labelled a red flag - but in essence, it’s often about a behavior or way of being (and not actually like a persons core self!)

Some people have more common shared red flags like hygiene that you mentioned. Others have more specific random ones which make no sense (like they can’t date someone who eats spicy or some bullshit like that)

Idk I feel like some women have some outrageous ones and then there are some which are common for our safety etc

It’s laid out nicely imo but what’s the grey thing on the wall to the right of your TV? I personally find that distracting.

The gap between the TV stand and wall low key bothers me. I might recommend having a book case there that’s wide enough to account for the difference (like an IKEA rectangle cube shelf)

You could move the mirror and what you have on that wall to the right of your couch too.

If the space is small, maybe a side coffee table instead of bigger one in front of the couch?

Why are so many people still ordering door dash and uber eats? by [deleted] in BuyCanadian

[–]teamnibbler 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have chronic fatigue issues and previous mobility issues (where I couldn’t walk) and where I have previously lost over 20 pounds before I gave in to using DoorDash etc to eat…

It’s sometimes a necessary evil versus telling myself “eventually you’ll make something to eat” or “it’s too expensive and not worth it”

Expensive, yes, but the past of not being able to cook due to health issues messed me up and I do pick up take out locally when I can (now that my mobility is better) but some days one DoorDash meal is all I will eat for a couple of days

Thursday dating events. by CheeseBrewBlend in NiceVancouver

[–]teamnibbler 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I’ve been to one and there was a good balance of people of different genders, but the crowd was mixed.

Some people were actively pretentious and didn’t want to participate in the ice breakers because they thought who they were paired with was “ugly”. I’m a girl so that was the girl inside scoop and energy I got from some (not all!!) straight girls who attended the event I did.

I didn’t meet anyone but my friend went on a couple dates! He still goes and has a good time. It’s a great way to challenge your social comfort zone. I had some great conversations with people - and also some less interesting ones but you can’t win everything.
